Fairmont Private School

In September 1990 I took a job with a local private school in the Southern California area. This school, Fairmont Private School, offered me a position maintain the schools computer systems. During the time I was at Fairmont I installed the school's first network. We did the required investigation and decided that installing Arcnet along with Novell networking software was the right direction at the time for the school. After the network was running and stable we then took on the task of upgrading the school student management software to a more robust and network version.

Following the hardware and network upgrades the school choose to keep me on as an in-house computer person and gave me a position of managing the student records and assisting the team members in the school's office.
